There was a bug with version 7.5 when trying to log directly into theadmin area. In tht version login through the main forum then click theadmin link that will appear at the top.

However, you should upgrade to version 7.51, released today, as thisfixes this bug as well as a few others and a also a few securityproblems.

Apologies if I am just being dense.

I am trying to install the forum on my site. I have uploaded all the files as described in the documentation and have moved and renamed (making the relevant changes in both common.asp files) the database file so that it sits in a folder not accessible via the web.

When I try to log in to the admin section of the forum using Administrator and letmein as the usernamend password  get the error:

Sorry, only members with sufficient permission can access this page.

A security error has occurred with authentication.

I must be doing something stupid, but I'm not sure what.
