Might also want to try compacting that database if it hasn't been done lately (or ever)...that should help...

Probably because Access cannot handle what your doing to it, have you disabled active users?

h have the forum installed and runing at http://zamalekfans.com/forum/DEFAULT.ASP and it is in arabic < that forum is a sprting club forum and we have 3404 members and there are about thriety on line most of the time < and we use the access database < we have our own didecated server, nothing else on the server yet except the forum , and the forum is so slow , why ?

can any one explain this ?
