I wish people would find the forums search feature and save me repeating myself.

Here goes again.

When upgrading both databases need to be compacted and repaired before and after the upgarde process.

The comapact and repair feature can be found in the tools menu in MS access.

I just upgraded from version 6.34 to 7.51a....I know, I was well overdue.  Everything went well including the db converting (THANK YOU SO MUCH  FOR THAT!!!) but now whenever I attempt to post a new topic I get this error:

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e21'

The changes you requested to the table were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key, or relationship. Change the data in the field or fields that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index to permit duplicate entries and try again.

I can still edit existing posts/topics and can add new replies to topics, just not add new topics.

Can anyone help me out???
