    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=14305">Shaun Hendricks</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 8226<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 24&nbsp;December&nbsp;2003 at 8:54am<br /><br /><P>Sorry:</P><P>I've been out sick for a few days.&nbsp; First off, thank you to everyone that has responded.&nbsp; The parent paths were not the issue, turned them on and it had no impact.</P><P>I do have friendly HTTP messages off, that's how I know I'm getting a genuine 404 error message.&nbsp; I haven't tried deleting the SSI calls yet.&nbsp; Before I do that, I'm thinking it might be easier to turn on SSI (if it's not already.)&nbsp; Are there any IIS 6.0 guru's out there that can tell me where to look and how to get or check that SSI's are allowed?&nbsp; Microsoft's help on the matter isn't any.&nbsp; I know that FrontPage Extensions are turned on, and I've checked FrontPage Includes with the server.&nbsp; They work okay.&nbsp; I'm at a loss how to find out if SSI's are allowed and if they are even turned on, or how to turn them on if they aren't.</P><P>I'm not as familiar with ASP as I am with .NET.&nbsp; Isn't there a way in ASP to call an external page for inclusion without using an SSI?&nbsp; I don't want to do FrontPage calls for this purpose because I don't want to deal with editing in FrontPage, while easy, it's a pain to work with ASP in it.&nbsp; I tend to use WebMatrix for that.</P><P>Passing such knowledge on earns BIG karma points.&nbsp; <IMG src="https://forums.webwiz.net/smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0"></P><P>Thank you all.</P>]]>
