It's a different breed than previous versions of FP - much more oriented to developers as opposed to newbies. Don't have any problem with wwf, but about the only automatic option I have turned on is Intellisense. Visual Studio initially gave me problems with format until I turned off some things.</P><P>FP is a great site admin tool - move a file, it changes all the links to it; check for broken links; blah, blah, blah. All under one wrapper. One of it's good features is that you can assign other editors for different file types (e.g. a css editor, a js editor, etc) and still get the fp admin capabilities.</P><P><strong>Never use fp's built-in data base stuff!</strong></P><P>A good free editor is <strong>Html-Kit</strong> - big support community producing mods and add-ons like crazy. Use it for unix sites, but also have done some asp stuff in it.</P>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=12292">Semikolon</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 8477<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 01&nbsp;January&nbsp;2004 at 3:10pm<br /><br /><P>dont use programs like frontpage and dreamveawer to things like this.. frontpage 2002/2003 dv mx/mx2004 will work a little bit, but theres 99% chance of getting your files messed up anuways..</P><P>use a simple text editor like notepad or buy a more powerful editor like ultraedit, or if you got very much money, buy visual studio .net 2003.. i really recommend the last one as there is integrated support for ASP, ASP.Net, HTML, CSS, VB, JS, VB.Net, C# and so on.. made by the creators of ASP and VB.. its the best.. but DONT enter the design mode with an asp page&nbsp;which you have laid alot of work in the script.. that will simply screw it up.. create ALL missing tags(tags that is in a Response.Write statement or in another file)&nbsp;and reformat everything..</P>]]>
