They wish to retain the background image but unfortunately the smtext against the background wull have to be white at least. This means that you can have text that is unreadable in one of the two areas. Separating the 2 areas into 2 different CSS classes would allow you to set up the classes to have 2 different colors. He is willing to make the change once but doesn't want to make the chane for every sibsequent version of the forum.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=14578">tim_r</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 8573<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 05&nbsp;January&nbsp;2004 at 5:23am<br /><br /><P>I am doing a site design that is on a dark blue background but I'd like a light forum with black text (similar to the default) as it's easiest to read and use IMHO.&nbsp; </P><P>The problem I have is that there are styles (e.g. smText) that are used outside the tables that "float" on the main page background, that are also used inside the forum tables.&nbsp; However I would like the text to be white outside and black inside the tables.&nbsp; Thus they really need to be 2 different css classes.</P><P>I have started to modify the code but this is something I wouldn't really want to do each time a new release comes out.&nbsp; Is there a way of requesting changes?&nbsp; I'd be happy to do the work and submit it for the next release?&nbsp; </P><P>Has anyone else come across this?</P><P>Cheers</P>]]>
