But when I do a normal equal operation it comes up with a collation error. I fixed this by converting the collation for both columns (User_Code from the forum and from my table), but this seems to slow down the query dramatically.
Could anyone tell me the collation for User_Code so that I can adjust the collation in my table accordingly?

Thanks in advance.

Edited by RobertCook
