( or the code in the forum) Now they're saying there's no real way to track down the origin of the problems as the whole server shares memory.

Much appreciated Borg.

Steve

I have been very meticulous with this and have spent many hourschecking it, so it is not a problem with the forum codes.

If you have other ASP applications and files running on your site gothrough them and make sure that all objects are released once they havebeen finshed with.

If you have modified the forum with mods available that others havewritten this may also be the problem as I have noticed allot of modsare badly written and don't drop server objects. I had a few forums Iwas hosting for others that I found had problems like this on theserver and I found it was the mods they had installed that wherecoursing allot of server problems like you mention.

It could also be bad programming on another site that is coursing thisproblem if your site doesn't have it's own isolated memory allocation.

Edited by -boRg-

It then immediately comes back on line.

Is there a way that I can do something to the database when an error like this occurs to avoid having to call them?
Or is there possibly a script that can be run from here to close everything up?

Thank you,

Steve

Xhanging to MS SQL server version would clear this up.
