The change username file was missing. I reuploaded the whole thing and it now works OK. Once again thank you for your support.

If you update your admin section on your forum there is a new part under Membership Administration called, 'change username',click this link to go to a page to change usernames in the forum.

Have you replaced the common.asp files with the new version so that the version number is updated?

When trying to change the member name do you get an error message? If so what?

These may be just my mistakes!
First, the new version of them forum does not seem to update to WWF7.7a at the bottom. Secondly in the admin I cannot rename usernames asyou are meant to be able to do in the new version.
