Things now work correctly if I have those directories off of the website root, as in:</P><P>../images<BR>../files<BR>../avatars</P><P>But, I would prefer to have those folders within a folder called, say, uploads that's off of the root. For instance:</P><P>../uploads/images</P><P>If I do that, though, it doesn't work: I get the same VBScript error.</P><P>Do I need to modify the VBScript to have the directory structure I want? If so, what do I need to do?</P><P>Thanks, appreciate your advice.</P><P>&nbsp;</P>]]>

I'm new here, and it's great to be joining this group. Using forums version 7.7.</P><P>I have&nbsp;a little problem I hope to get some advice on resolving, to do with file and image uploads.</P><P>Settings enabled for such uploads, globally and in individual forums. Here's what happens if I try and include a file or image in a forum post, ie, click the upload button and get the screen to browse for a file and include it, then click on ok:</P><P><FONT face="Courier New, Courier, mono" size=1>Microsoft VBScript runtime </FONT><FONT face="Courier New, Courier, mono" size=1>error '800a004c'<BR>Path not found <BR>/customers/forum/functions/functions_upload.asp, line 80</FONT></P><P><FONT size=1>Line 80 in the relevant file says this:</FONT></P><P><FONT face="Courier New" size=1>objFSO.CreateFolder(Server.MapPath(strFileUploadPath &amp; "\" &amp; strUserFolderName))</FONT></P><P><FONT face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size=1>Now, I'm not a programmer, just a non-techie guy who is developing a forum! Does it looks like I'm missing something on my server or got something mis-configufred?</FONT></P><P><FONT size=1>I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks!</FONT></P>]]>
