    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=1">WebWiz-Bruce</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 9621<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 08&nbsp;February&nbsp;2004 at 3:27am<br /><br />That may not be very simple.<br><br>An easier solution would be to run all 4 forums from the same SQL server database, but use only 1 authors table.<br><br>The way this could be done is.<br><br>In the common.asp files there is a variable that holds the table andstored procedure prefixes so that multiple forums can run from the sameMS SQL DB. Make these prefixes different for each forum.<br><br>Now is the more difficult part. You will need to run some sort ofglobal search and replace on each forum so that each of the forums willuse the same tblAuthors table.<br><br>I've never tried it myself, but should in theory work.<br>]]>
