I have  a number of mdb files that I want to convert to mde. A few of them convert nicely, but some of them (none are over a few meg, the smallest is about 500k) get an error that goes on about the Jet 4 engine being  unable to convert it because it has to many tableID's, or something along those lines. When I click on the 'get more info on web' link, it calls it a 10010 error, and says there's no help on the subject.

I searched the MS knowledgebase, and found an article relevant to access 97, 2000 and 2002, and the only resolution it gives is "Use lightweight forms and reports whenever possible, or reduce the number of objects in the database."

I was wondering if there are any other causes for this error, as i find it hard to believe there are 2048+ tableId's in the DBes?
