Not a problem it will kick up errors because the tables are already imported but you need to run it to create the stored procedures in the SQL database.
Thanks

Are you exporting to a new database? Was the database in use while you were doing the export? I copied the database to another location before I started the export I guess I should have mentioned that I would make sure it was not in use?? Try it again and copy your *.mdb to another location and make sure your creating a brand new SQL database.
Thanks,
Lo

I did exactly what you're telling me but i am still getting the same errors, i am trying to export from forum access version 7 to sql version 7.6, do you think the problem might be cause of the version, and by the way i am on office 2003.
Thanks Man

Well I'm running office XP and my database is a access 2000 database and I'm upsizing to a sql 2000 database so that could very well be the problem. I would for sure ask some of the experts around here. Sorry I can't help past this. I just barley got by with what i did. But please if you come up with some info let me know and I will add it to this htm page so others won't have to go through this pain
Thanks

the forums run access v 2000..
access in office xp creates access 2000 databases and i think that access 2003 creates 2003 databases, but if you open the forumsdatabase in 2003 its still in 2000 format..
