Activation Mail !?

In our forum users can register without activating over e-mail. We have great problems with users and i activated this option in the Admin Area (Email Activation of Membership). Set the Outgoing Smtp Mail Server as "mail.xxxxxx.com" (how we use it).
 
Email Component to use is AspMail... others do not work.
 
After a test registration the new user get this information:
 
 
Thank-you for registering to use Web Wiz Forums

Your Forum Membership needs to be activated!

An activation email will be sent in a few moments to the email address you gave when registering.
Click on the link in this email to activate your Forum Membership.
 
But no e-mail arrives...
 
What can be the problem? Just i have to modify some codes?
 
I search after my problem at other topics in yours Forum here, but i did not find something that can help me...
 
Plz help!

your host may require email authentification.

and thus the email is sent to the mail server but because its not autheenticated it wont allow it to be sent.

also check if your mail server IP is blacklisted (dnsstuff.com) will help with that.

Do you know free mail server software?
I think we have to change ours!? (where we can select email authentification)
