AD Auth changed after upgrade of 9.56 to latest

I just upgraded from 9.56 using the AD auth mod to the latest version. Everything seemed fine except the way login is now handled. Duplicate users are being created because where previously the AD mod would authenicate on our AD, and populate the forum username with their real name, now the latest version is simply putting the AD username as the forum username. On top of that information isn't being ported from AD automatically like before. Previously upon logging on, their user profile would already have their real name, and their email. Now this doesn't occur.
