can you tell us some details about point system on version 10 ??? how the user points increase ??? and is there a way to spend points on the site ???


and a suggestion : please add "Re-enter email address" field in register.aps to check that the users enter their mails correctly ...

The point system replaces the post count for ladder groups.

In the new release you can create multiple ladder systems giving each ladder system a different name. This is useful for gaming and clan web sites.

Members then move up the ladder system based on points rather than post count.

You will be able to set in the admin area different number of points for different things. eg. 1 Point for a reply and 5 Points for a new Post.

Thats are far as it goes at present, but when complete you will be able to set points for things like:-

Replies
New Topics
Polls
Calendar Events
Blog Entries
Blog Comments
Rating Topics

Admin and moderators can also edit members profiles and remove or add points, so that it can be used as a reward system for helpful and unhelpful members.

I am closing this topic as at the present time are not taking anymore suggestions for version 10.

We have a very large list of new features to add based on customer feedback over the last year, so more than likely you will see many of your suggestions added anyway.

We are aiming for a release date before the end of February, if we take on any new suggestions then this deadline would be further delayed.
