An idea that i cant get to work

Hi there,

I know this is more like a mod idea than anything else but i cant post it in the mod forum to get help.

What I want to do is to be able to upload a series of thumbnails into a topic within the forums and then when they are clicked on they come up in a pop up window with the forum skin as a full sized picture. I know there is javascript for popup windows but how do i use it to do what i want?

sorry when i say thumbnails i mean mini pictures that link to larger pictures in a pop up box, the pop up box will have the forum skin attached to it- and a larger picture of the of the thumbnail picture they clicked on - but there will be a gallery of these picture so it will need to display the correct one.......

in fact can this not done by me just coding html???
