Good Morning.

I have a live 6.3 forum running on access. +/- 45MB.

I have a new 7.8 forum (virgin running configuration) on SQL on a new site/IP address.

I would like to move the forum contents from the 6.3 access to the 7.8 SQL.

A general idea of the time and cost involved, I, the site and servers are located in the states.

Actually there's a lot of data-type tweaking to do. There's an upgrade program to get the db to 7.0 which is/was a significant upgrade, but there's also been a few db changes since then. I think most people upgrade access through the various wwf upgrades, then convert to sql.

You may want to check out some of the conversion threads for someone to do the upgrade. Some people seem to have done it more than once and are very knowledgeable.

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.

I saw that thread and being 3 pages deep now, I figured this would be better in it's own post.

I could probably figure it out, but would rather give money to someone that has done it before and get it done right.
