Hi All

Guys, I'm facing a problem with the Arabic characters, it's showing question marks ??? on the message body while it's showing the correct text in the Subject field...

I also, opened the SQL server table, and could see the subject as it's on Arabic but the message body is coming as ????

Anyone can help on this...

You should Edit the Langauge file .... for changing the Lanugauge of the forum to whatever you like to

I got no answer, so I'm asking again....

When I'm posting Arabic topic, only the title of it appeared proberly, but the message body appears as question marks...

any idea how to solve this... ?

Sounds like the database can not handle Aribic characters. Try asking your hosting company about this issue, they may need to install Aribic langauge set on the server.

Thanks alot ....

I found out what's the problem... and solved it...

I'm using the SQL server version of the forum, and this problem is not there in the Access version...

The problem is because of the datatype of the field stroing the message body, which is set to 'TEXT' and it should be 'NTEXT'... once I changed it, it's working fine with no problem...

I noticed that you are using the 'NVARCHAR' in all fields, and in the signature field you are already uisng the 'NTEXT' type... only in the message body and the private message body it's 'TEXT'...

I think you need to fix this in the distribution version...

Text is used instead of NText as it increases the speed of searches within the forum.
