ASP / MS Access on an Intranet

I'm involved in the designing of an Intranet at work and we'd like to use some ASP Scripts (including some Web Wiz ones) to make the site more dynamic. We will have a maximum of 200-250 users accessing the site. I was hoping someone could throw light on how an MS Access database would cope under the strain.

It depends on how the server is setup. As mentioned before in several posts, Access strains under "concurrent connections" but otherwise will generally work fine.

My largest forum has over 16k members and currently has 15 active users showing although it has peaked at 160 (active users page) for 8 hours continuously. It is over 1 year old and has run with barely any hitches.

Like michael said though, when the choice is available run SQL Server or the MSDE.
