We are having a reccurring problem with our web site. I took over the maintenance of the site last year after the web developer and the programmer/analyst were laid off. The problem is in the generation of the only two dynamic pages. One is used for the career section and the other our news section. Every day or two, these pages cease to come up in a browser. JavaScript was used to create these pages and the scripts instantiate a data access COM object that connects to a SQL Server 7.0 backend.
When looking at the code itself, variants are used to facilitate data access. Has anyone have any ideas why after a while, an ASP page will not come up. We are running the site on IIS 5.
