aspemail error

I am receiving the following error on my mailserver reguarding aspemail and webwiz forum:

Error [10053] Software Caused connection abort.

This happens when I put in authentication to my mailserver using .username="user" and .password="password"

If I don't use authentication, I can send to my domain only.

Has anyone seen this before, do I need to "buy" aspemail in order for authentication to work?

I am the web host, I have my own server @ level3.  I am runnig win2kadvserver, argosoft mailserver.  The webwiz forum is located on the server, but I still require authenication.

I was successful placing the following code into the send_mail.asp.

        .Fields( http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpauthentic ate) = 1
        .Fields(http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/sendusername) = "SMTPAUTHUser"
        .Fields(http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/sendpassword) = "SMTPAUTHPassword"

This worked great for me, allowing me to relay messages using authentication with my argosoft mailserver.  Thanks for your help!  Maybe you could include the lines and comment them out to make it easier for others in the future!
