I am running the 9.67 MySQL version.

When I try to Batch Delete Members older than 1 year with no posts it just returns "0 Members have been Deleted."
This regardless of whether I choose All member accounts or Un-activated member accounts.

And I do have quite a number of member accounts that are 2 and 3 years old with no posts, so lack of candidates is not the reason.

What to do?

Yes, actually I did migrate from Access to MySQL.
I installed the 9.66 MySQL version and then imported the data from Access into the MySQL database using Navicat. Apart from a few extremely long posts that got lost it worked like a charm.

I did have various small problems with the 9.66 version, including this one, but since I have upgraded to 9.67 they have all disappeared - except for this one (afaik).
So until I saw your reply here I actually thought the migration had been without any problems.

Moving from Access to mySQL is not support as the mySQL version uses a very different schema so you often end up with an unstable database. We also see issues with mySQL database corruptions when you get above 400MB database.

You should look instead at upsizing the database to SQL Server as the schemas are very simular and SQL Server can also handle millions of posts.

Omniwel;  You may notice that the Posts count doesn't increase with users.  You will also notice that the number of posts do not correctly reflect the actual posts of your users.  All the users with 0 posts may actually have several posts.  What I've been doing is going through all the users and searching for their posts and updating their account with the real post count.  It is tedious work so far.  I've also removed a lot of older topics that had been migrated over from the Access database.  After removing the topics I did notice that the users Post count was being modified properly. I haven't had any new users lately to see if their post counts are properly increasing yet.
Bruce; Are you saying that the Access to mySQL migrations start to corrupt after 400 megabytes within the mySQL database.  Or, just a fresh install is corrupting?  That is a bit discouraging to hear, though I doubt mine will ever get that big.

Thanks a lot SnowBlind, but actually the number of posts seem to increase as it should. With new users as well as migrated users. I have just tested it and everything seems perfectly okay in that respect.

Also the batch delete returns 0 deleted users. Had the cause been an inaccurate post count then the actual number of users without any posts might have been lower than shown but I doubt it would ever be 0. During the years at least one person is bound to have signed up without ever posting.

So I doubt this is the cause in my case. But thanks anyway! Thumbs Up

It sure does sound like tedious work - almost regardless of the number of users Dead

And as I have understood you, fixing the count issue hasn't solved the problem with batch delete?

So far, no it has not solved the problem with the batch delete of the users.  I still get 0 deleted.
