is there any add on or something uploadable to the data base that would make posting through anonymous proxy servers impossible?

i appologise in advance is i have not searched properly for this topic in past postings! .

If you know the IP address of the proxy server you can add this to the list of blocked IP addresses, apart from that there is not allot you can do.

Your best form of defense is to setup your forum with email activation enabled and in the list of blocked email domians place in those of free email services like hotmail and yahoo.

This people will have to sign up with there own email address, and can only sign up once with that email address, so if there account becomes suspended they can not sign up again with the same email address.
