hi everybody,

I found a bug like suppose i make a post, then somebody replies, then i cant delete it but i can edit it

Borg, plz note this and fix in the new versions.

But the post you tried to delete is the topic starter or a simple post?

If i post topic or if i just reply, till im a mod/admin i cant delete/edit post if the topic starter is different.

do 1 test, after i reply, see u will still be able 2 edit ur reply

Yes.. but the post U tried to delete was a topic starter (so the first post of a topic) or was simply a reply post?

The forum is designed like that, it's not a bug.

If you give a normal user permission to delete posts they can only delete their own posts and only before a reply is made to that post. Once someone has posted a reply the only person who can delete the previous post is the forum admin or a modertor.

This was done as it was found that people would delete a post after someone had replied to it, this then leeds to topics that have posts that look out of place or complete nosense.

U didnt get me. Ok. i will explain again.

suppose i post a topic, u reply on that, that means that aftetr your reply i cant delete my threads till im admin/mod. Still, even after you post a reply, I can edit my previous posts. Suppose its a long thread 100posts, forget the first 90, 91th post i make, 92th is urs, 93th somebody else, this means i cant delete my 91th post since somebody has replied but i can still edit it. That messes up the thing in Quote is used.
