I have created several custom groups. For some reason, some users get switched from the default group to this custom group from time to time. I can always set them back. They always get set to the same custom group. I'm not sure I see any pattern to the "random" change.
 
Anyone else seen this happen? Any ideas on how to prevent it from happening? It's annoying to have to go in every day and check to see if anyone got switched into the group.

Make sure your custom group is not part of the ladder system for groups.

Also check you do not have a moderator who is changing users groups.

Ah - I think it was because it was the first "custom" group that was listed, but I had not made it a non-ladder group. Still not sure why people would get added to it instead of the Newbie group (maybe because the group name was alphabetically before Newbie).
 
I've set all of my custom groups as non-ladder; we'll see if that fixes the issue.
