Maybe an odd question, but is there a way to integrate NewsPad into WebWizForum in such a way that a news posting a given category would mass mail it's content to a forum member group?

Bottom line is that I want to be able to push notification to certain members of the forums when a news item is posted.

OK, but it I looked a little closer at the listed features and saw this under eNewsletters and NewsBulletins, so it may work close enough:
"Select which Subscriber Categories and/or Web Wiz Forums member groups to send eNewsletter to"


Looks like I just need to try it out and see how it fits!

You can create your eNewsletters in NewsPad and then send them to your Web Wiz Forums members.

You can also have it display the subjects with links to the eNewsletter on the home page of your forum.

This is a very similar question to the one that I posted over the weekend.
I would like to separate the news so that forum members only get news from one category.
 
Is this possible?

When you send an eNewsletter you select which Web Wiz Forums member groups you want to send the eNewsletter to. This is sppurate to selecting NewsPad categories.

I was thinking more of the Newspad integration with the Forum.  We have some news items that we want to be displayed on the forum and others that are only for newsletters (i.e. NOT displayed on the forum).

At present, the forum displays all news, irrespective of category/member groups.
