Is there a way that I can run this ASP forum on my Apache server? I have Windows XP home and Apache. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

You can try UKFreehosts. They offer 6 months free and if you want to quit after that there is no charge.

Yes there is Chili Soft by Sun, but it still tends to encounter some minor problems when handling ASP.

Dunno...But Sun lists it at [ $495 ] for a license. Considering the fact that it is "iffy" at best that WWG will run well on it, I'd say you may as well buy XP Pro and run IIS under it. Just remember that you will be limited to 10 concurrent connections unless you [ successfully hack ] your way around that.

There are also a couple of methods for [ running IIS under XP Home ]. I was successful in getting it to work once upon a time just to try it; however, I can't guarantee the results. As disclaimed in my article reprint, you are on your own.

===============
VBScript or JScript supported?

Yes, but not with this Perl module. For ASP with other scripting languages besides Perl, you will need to go with a commercial vendor in the UNIX world. Sun and Stryon have such solutions. Of course on Windows NT and Windows 2000, you get VBScript for free with IIS.

No VBScript = No WWG Wink
