I've just upgraded from 7.01 Access to 7.5 SQL Server. Everything seems to have gone way better than expected. Thanks for a great update!

I did run into one problem however. Now when I try to create a poll I get the following error:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e21'

Multiple-step OLE DB operation generated errors. Check each OLE DB status value, if available. No work was done.

/forum/post_message.asp, line 517

I'm afraid I don't know what an OLE DB status value is, so I don't know what to check. Is the Poll table between the Access and SQL Server different? I used to be able to create polls before the update.

Thanks for any assistance.

Your poll question is to long. You need to increae the size of the Poll_question field in the table tblPoll to at least 80 characters.

Thanks very much, borg! Worked like a charm. I'm a happy camper now.

By the way, things have gone so well with this upgrade and conversion that I think I'll be sending some money your way again. This forum software rocks!
