Can't edit links or images

This is truly a great product, however, unless I'm missing something, there doesn't seem to be a way to edit images or linked text (I have to delete them and re-enter). For example, if I've inserted an image, I can't select it and go back to just add some HSpace to it.  Or in the case of linked text, I can't just highlight the text, click the link icon and edit the link.
