captcha not working on forum V 9.08

All of a sudden I cannot log in as administrator. When I get to the second log in screen it says that the captcha info I entered is wrong. New users cannot sign up either.
 
It worked fine only a few days ago, could be something to do with the sessions on the server. Windows 2000 IIS5 perhaps something to do with the latest security update? I re-uploaded all of the .asp files from my backup in case something on the server was corrupted but still no work.
 
I tried other browsers, both IE6 and Firefox and it is the same problem. Tried different computers, same problem, so it appears to be a server issue and most likely related to the last security updates.
 
I bought the full software a few years ago, not sure if I am allowed to upgrade to the latest version.
 
Anyone have a problem like this?

I removed the latest security patch KB958644 and restarted the server. No change, still cannot log in.
 
Any input would be appreciated.

Hi, Thanks, I sent in a request to support along with what I think it my license key link. Not sure if it is the right one however.
