Hi

I'm rather new to ASP-languages

I am setting up a board internally in our deprtment, in a big-sized company, I would like to know how to change the fields "ICQ, AIM etc. etc." since we do not use such things, and I would like to keep the informationfields, jsut gathering other infos. such as: locale phone no. what programs the person use and such.

in what file do I find these things ?

Thanks in advance

Daniel

To start with these things are in the profile and register pages, you can just rename the field names which can be done in the language files.

I would caution against using initials because you will room in two or more people with the same initials. It that is something you still want to do you can accomplish it by going to the register page and changing the maxlength on the field to 3.

If you comment them out on the profile page then they can not be updated and will not be shown.

It's the register.asp page that is used to update the profile.
