Chat rooms generally use alot of server resources so many hosts ban the use of such items which would mean that alot of peole would no-longer be able to use the forum software on their sites.

A forum is not a chat room it’s a place for discussion, help and debate. Forums are also easier to administrate that chat rooms as you have time to interact with the posts.

Borg, I Would suggest that you include the max no of mods and keep ON/OFF Button in Admin area
