Clickable thumbnails not working

Hey everyone,

I can't get clickable thumbnails to work.

For example, if I wrap an url tag around an image tag the image code remains but the URL is removed and replaced with an </a> tag.

Is there a setting in config I need to set to enable nested url,img,url forum codes? I must be doing something wrong as it's message board 101 to post those types of things.

I'm confused

It's quite simple in WYSIWYG Editor.

Place the image in your post, then after selecting the image click the URL button and type in your URL, once finish hit OK and your image URL is created eg:-

Big%20smile

the image above should now be a clickable image to this page.

Okay, this is really bizarre.

If I take the "Hotlink a clickable thumbnail on a Forum or Message Board" code from ImageVenue and paste it in here, it works fine...



But if I use the same code on my board, all it does is show the thumbnail graphic, strips the URL portion of the code and appends a </a> tag at the end.

Any ideas what could be going on?

What version are you using?

if you are using version 8.03 there were some issues with images displaying correctly that were posted in IE, these issues have been fixed in version 8.04 which was released today.

Try upgrading to the latest version and see if that solves your problem.
