I don't want to use a certificate, and I don't want to use a hash...

Does anyone know how I can pass information securely from the client to the server otherwise?

No, but serious, you need to encrypt the data somehow and client side might not be strong enough for you. Why are you against hash...

Answer was there. Instead of getting reamed by Verisign for $900.00, the same thing there is $70.00.

And a complaint I have is why wildcard certificates cost so much more as if the certificate were really 10 times (or whatever) harder to issue!
