I am planning to install blogging software in a sub directory

will it have any compatibility issue? or should I install it in subdomain?

s/w I am planning to install is blogengine or you have some recommendations which might not have any compatibility issue.

my server does not support php I have requested my host for php support which he said will be looking in ...

so till now i have only windows/asp based blog s/w is possible.

if php is provided to me then i would go for wordpress Hope this also does not have any compatiblilty issue with webwiz forum as forum is my first preference.

It should have no issues as it will be in a different directory. I can run web wiz forum software in one directory, and I have a php based software using a database too, running in a separate directory. I cannot see why there should be any issues running both systems within the same domain
