I have a Panasonic NV-GS50 video cam. After instaling Video Studio 7, I plug in the firewire and start Video Studio. When I click the capture tab, there is an error pop up saying:

connecterror

And then there is another one saying:

popup title: panasonic dvc web camera
mesg: error: get interface [ok]

I wonder what problem is this. Thanks.

gutted I wish i could suggest some thing more technical but check the drivers, the connection and see if there are any more uptodate drivers on the panasonic web site

Hey ngaisteve1 so did you get a result with your NV-GS50?

I have the same problem if I try to use anything other than the Panasonic DVStudio3.  Unfortunatly this seems to only take still images from the video.

How can I transfer the video image and sound from the NV-GS50 to my PC so that I can play with it etc?
