Hi all,

During testing, users receive a confirmation that their registration was successful, but can't log in. They receive a cookie error:

"Un-Successful Login

Your login was un-successful due to a cookie problem.

Please ensure that all cookies are enabled on your web browser for this web site. "

There is no confirmation email being sent (is that an option?) and the cookie settings should be ok.

What are the potential reasons for this?

Make 100% sure that cookies are enabled before people start figuring how to help you only to find out that cookies were disabled.
 
Also this issue has been covered hundreds of times, possible reasons: frames, redirectors,...,...
 
Do a search for cookie problems.

Changing cookie settings makes no difference in login behavior.

The user shows in the user list in the admin console, but she cannot log in.
