please read the documentaton that comes with the software.

it gives you details on preventing the viewing/download iof the database.

you have to put the database above trhe root folder.

another idea is to change the extention of the database from mdb to .asp

and reflect this within the common.asp files

this way it still can't be downloaded even if within the root folder as its exevuted like a .asp fil,e and not a mdb file.
and if viewed it shows a jumblled mess not the database.

the best ay is to place above the root folder. many paid hosts allow this , somes the folder is called private or secure or _database
