I most like to have the possibility to display a description of the newsletter on the home page as you have the version 1. It could be put to choose if you want to appear on the main page a description or the full newsletter.
 
The problem of removing the description in this new version and not be able to write a description of the bulletin is that many webmasters have very great newsletters and if appear together on the main page is very large and too much text to load it and show it well.

There are no plans to have an option to display different Blog/Newsletter content on the Blog Homepage as this made the old system over complicated and difficult to use.

Are looking though at an option to display the first x amount of characters of the Blog Post on the Blog Homepage rather than the whole Blog Post.

Be careful if you do this with the url, images and source codes. If it ends in the middle of a source will go wrong. So I see that the best way would be for the webmaster to introduce its own description as you have version 1.

Very sorry the description field has been deprecated and attempting to reintroduce it would be rolling back to version 1's two phase approach to posting and would not be possible is late in the development phase.

If you require this then you can still use version 1 and not upgrade to version 2.
