Does this EU council seriously expect anyone to take them seriously? Just because they pass a law doesn't obligate anyone to actually follow it. This is complete insanity to expect businesses outside of their jurisdiction to respect any laws they make. Who's going to pay for it?
I know a lot of people on this board live in the EU (mostly the UK). Why on earth can't your governments solve their own problems instead of shifting them off the rest of the planet? This just reeks of more incompetent bureaucrats screwing the pooch again.
For those outside the EU, don't you find this a bit arrogant/idiotic/George Bushlike?
