I need to display information in iframes on a page. The problem I have is that I can't get javascript dropdown menus, which I have above the iframe, to dropdown on top of the iframe. When the dropdown is activated the bottom of the menu always disappears behind the iframe.

Does anybody have any ideas of how to get the menu to appear on top of the iframe? - I can't get layered divs to work.

can't be done. you can't overlap items from one page onto another. an iframe is just like another window and you can't place items "over" it.

Nope, or create a popup with no borders at all at the location.

It workes here as well... Look at the font color chooser.

if you use internet explorer 5 or sooner the java dropdownmenus wont work in front of iframes.. but if you use ie6 it works...
