I would like some guidance on the EDIT and DELETE posts functionality.
At the moment I allow only FORUM ADMINS to Edit or Delete posts.
However, I am considering allowing users to Edit and/or delete their own posts.
What I would like to know is whether it is possible to inhibit somebody from Editing and/or Deleting their post once a further post has been made to a thread. However, I still want Forum Admins to be able to do this.
This will stop individuals from removing posts which are essential to the reading and understanding of the thread - whilst allowing them to correct errors or delete a post they are not happy with before somebody responds to it?
If this is not possible now - I'll ask whether a MOD exists for this or can be developed. Thanks!
