everytime i (administrator) try to edit a post in the forum, i get the following message:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01f4'

Variable is undefined: 'editedXMLParser'

/forum/forum_posts.asp, line 691

why?? pls help.

You must have modded the forum as I remember there is not Variable called editedXMLParser in the original code. Just dim it and see what happens

no, i did not modify anything. i downloaded the forum again and tried but the same error still appeared.

Check whether ur /forum/admin/database folder has writing n read permissions

editedXMLParser is a function found in the file functions_format_post.asp, make sure this file is not corrupted.
