    Posted: 13 May 2005 at 12:52am
hi, sorry gonna be posting a few topics, have been through almost half the forum and not even my questions have been answered, but i'm thinking more logically to a way around these problems.

firstly. where can i change the  'The time now is 13/May/2005 at 2:33pm' on the main forum page to 'AEST time now is 13/May/2005 at 2:33pm' specifying the servers location in the first place...

also, upon signing up as ive read some email service bounce back emails. well it seems everyone.net does also, but never reports the problem unlike sending an email to hotmail. my delorean email account never recieved or acknowldged recieving it. SO, the work around is how can i change the words
'Email Address*
Required to be able to receive an email to activate your membership'
to read,
'if email unrecieved, please contact admin thru the open help forum section'

I'm pretty sure thats all i had to ask,
great forum, love what you have made. been difficult getting it all up, but has made me learn more. so thankyou for creating a great asp forum borg.

all language veriables, text is stored in the langauge folder, most in the langauge_inc.asp files

you can not set a spacific location for the server at prtesent but there is a MOD within the MOD's  forum that allows you to offset the time globally

i know the server can't detect it's location, i was thinking of a way around that, whereas u just alter the text to state where the server is, so instead of having it detect, you specify it!

is that possible?

and just wondering about my text alter in email registration.
