Is there a way to format text in sending email through the Email Mesenger ?

Its is okay in the body text, but in the subject when I use á é í ó ú or ã ô õ or any other like that, it comes unreadable.

I am from Brazil.

This could be to do with your SMTP server settings or the page code meta tag on the page in question.
