Hi guys,
Is it possible to have an email sent to you when someone sends you a private message?
 
I just had a quick look within the admin section, but failed to find anything?

If you enable email notification members can then select in their forum profile to have emails sent to them when receiving a PM.

Actually is there any way of forcing this rule without user intervention? Can i simply set a value to '1' in the db somewhere?

You would have to do it for every user in the tblAuthor table, in the 'PM_notify' field.

You could also set it as the default in register.asp for new users.

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.
