I changed several of my users from being members of one group to become members of another. Essentially this restricted which forums they were allowed to access. But it appears that the email notifications that they had set when they were members of the first group are still coming, even though they can no longer access the forum they are coming from. To make matters worse, they can't go back now and remove the notification, and I can't do it for them without changing their password!
Is this really the way it works, or am I missing something? (I had expected the notifcations to be removed when their access was removed.)
