"Email to all members" - very low? :-(

Dear All,

I use v7.01 SQL and trying to send email to all 140 members.
It doesn't matter what email component used - ASPEmail, CDONT, etc - every time it's very, very slow procedure
It takes about 20 min...

Could you please recommend me, what could I perform to improve messaging speed?

its probably something wrong at your host, because i sent over 1600 emails and it didnt take more than a few min.

The speed all depends on how fast and how much load at the time is on the SMTP server you are using.

If it is slow you may need to switch hosts to one with a faster and less underload SMTP server.
