Hi, we want to allow the use of our set of avatars but we don't want people to be able to use their own by linking to a 64x64 image. Does anyone know if /how it's possible to keep avatars on but disable this option please?

you will need to edit the register.asp file and remove the textbox for linking to offsite avatars.

Ah that's great - thanks for your help Scotty32. Shame it's not a setting though, can't be the only ones having problems with this.

ive realised that instead of removing the textbox you will need to change it from type="textbox" to type="hidden" for it to work properly and persevere the selected avatar if they change for example they're location or something

Good thinking Scotty thank you. Ok, I think we'll only give it a whirl if we have problems with the avatars people select. Just wanted to ensure we had a cunning plan before we allowed them & got any unpleasantness. Thanks very much for your help!
